Alexander Glandien is an illustrator and animator from Germany, who currently works and lives in Vienna. His work ranges from editorial to advertising, from posters, magazine and book covers to animations and motion graphics. Some of his clients include The New York Times, Greenpeace , The New Yorker, Die Zeit, The Austrian Parliament, brand eins, Cicero, The Economist, BMW, Porsche, NBC News and The Guardian.
His artworks have been exhibited internationally and are part of the Albertina Art Collection and the Austrian National Art Collection. He has attended artist residencies in Mexico, Indonesia, Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, the USA and Spain and he has taught at various art universities.
